Video: Redi Tlhabi Discusses Her Book, Endings and Beginnngs
Redi Tlhabi, author of Endings and Beginnings: A Story of Healing, talked to Polity.org’s Shannon de Ryhove about the book, and the strange connection she had, at the age of 11, with the gangster known as Mabegzo. She says she tried to humanise him, and other black men like him, in order for others to understand how cycles of violence are created.
