Kelly Khumalo Reveals Her Spiritual Side in an Interview with The New Age

In an interview with The New Age’s Zwelakhe Shangase, singer Kelly Khumalo said she has been through a lot and is now rediscovering what it means to just love herself.

In her recently published biography, The Kelly Khumalo Story, Khumalo reveals her life in the spotlight and the abuse she suffered at the hands of her then lover, Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye, who was recently sentenced to twenty years in jail for causing the death of four children.

With four major projects on the go, singer-turned-reality show star Kelly Khumalo is back on the scene with her tell-all book, The Kelly Khumalo Story; her new album, The Past, The Present, The Future; her reality show, Rolling With Kelly Khumalo, and film debut on the straight-to-DVD, uSkroef noSexy.

We caught up with her in make-up on the set of the movie in Diepkloof, Soweto. A few metres away, her former boyfriend and father of her child, Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye, convicted of four counts of murder. But Kelly wasn’t rattled.
