How does romance sour into incompatibility?
Are men really frightened by intimacy?
Why don’t women understand that sex is intimacy?
Can passion and intimacy be kept alive with the same person, over time?
If you’re after a soul mate, are you pricing yourself out of the market?
Is nagging the death of love?
We can’t get enough of doomed lovers torn apart by betrayal, taboo and violence – as long as they stay on the screen or the page. In our own beds we want the happy ending. After Fifty Shades of Grey, you have read the fiction. Now read a book that talks about the reality.
It Doesn’t Have To Be So Hard completely revolutionises how we think and approach intimacy and intimate relationships. Through interlocking stories that are moving, funny and all too familiar, Joanne Fedler and Graeme Friedman combine their years of personal and professional experience to tackle the tough questions and myths around intimacy. Drawing from both psychology and spirituality, this book offers a new perspective on what intimacy is and how to keep it going.
It Doesn’t Have to be So Hard will change the way you see yourself, and how you think about long-term love. Finding and keeping intimacy is a massive challenge. But it’s not impossible, once you know the secrets. One of the key messages of this book is that love has a big future if we are willing to do the work it takes.
About the authors
Joanne Fedler is the author of the international bestseller, Secret Mothers’ Business, and several other titles. She teaches creative writing and is a former law lecturer and women’s rights activist.
Graeme Friedman is the author of two non-fiction books, various short stories, and a novel, The Fossil Artist (shortlisted for a 2011 Commonwealth Writers’ Prize). He has practised as a clinical psychologist for over 25 years.
Both Friedman and Fedler are happily married (to other people).

Picasso famously said there are two types of women: doormats and goddesses. If you find yourself describing your life as ‘fine’, ‘ok’ and ‘not too bad’, The Goddess Bootcamp, by certified life coach and self-proclaimed Liberator of Women, Kagiso Msimango, is just the tool to inject a big dose of Wow-ness into your life.
About the author
Kagiso Msimango was born with an enquiring mind; even starting school at the tender age of three! In her early twenties, her constant questioning of the status quo resulted in a period of depression, ending up therapy. Her psychiatrist advised her to learn to accept that things are as they are, and put her on anti-depressants. Unwilling to accept life as something that she needed to be medicated against, she turned her probing mind towards learning how to not only survive life but to thrive joyfully.
She read books, attended seminars and took courses on subjects as varied as psychology and metaphysics, and acquired a wide range of skills; from Reiki and EFT, to coaching, workshop facilitation and teaching via the Accelerated Learning technique.
She is now the first woman in Africa to become a certified IAW Facilitator-Coach, a coaching protocol specifically designed for women.
She began her journey in order to improve the quality of her life, and in the process realised that part of her path was to do the same for the world, one woman at a time. She founded The Goddess Academy to support, inspire, and empower women to believe in, choose and create lives of WOW!ness filled with pleasure, passion and purpose.

Here is a book that asks you to dream for a moment – what could you achieve if you understood and applied the philosophies and practices that equipped Nelson Mandela to grow from rural herd boy to world-famous political prisoner, to internationally admired president of his country and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize?
Imagine how successful you could be if you could emulate Madiba, whether at work or at home. Imagine if you could break off from the mental prison that inhibits you so that you are able to rise above present circumstances and challenges.
The MadibaMindset not only asks you to imagine, but offers you the tools to become; it offers encouragement, a source of conviction, and a step-by-step method to emulate Madiba.
By using examples from Madiba’s life and practical exercises, Tyrrel Fairhead guides the reader in emulating the MadibaMindset. The exercises can be done over the years in different contexts, and on a journey of progressive long-term improvement. It can be relevant and useful for many years.
About the author
Tyrrel Fairhead started by studying accounting and economics although at the time he was most interested in surfing and sailing. In his mid 30’s, he ventured to the study of hypnosis and NLP in the US.
He is fascinated with financial analysis and business because that’s what people spend most of their time doing and human behaviour is usually the driving force behind most successes and failures. He believes that South Africa has the best role-model for human achievement available in the world today.
He holds the following qualifications: B.Comm, B.Comm (Hons), CTA, DCH, Certified Trainer NLP.
